Welcome to the Monterey County Association of REALTORS®, (MCAR)! The Monterey County Association of REALTORS® offers three different types of membership: Designated REALTOR®, REALTOR®, and AFFILIATE.

Members of the Association pay dues to the Association for access to a multitude of highly sophisticated and valuable products and services, which are either free or fee-based.

Simply fill out one of our membership packets below and contact Tina Rowe, Membership Coordinator by email to request prorated membership fees and to schedule your appointment.

Full payment is due at time of appointment.

New MCAR Broker Member Requirements

–  DBA shown on Broker’s license with the Department of Real Estate prior to your appointment.
In the event you do not have a DBA your office name will be your first and last name until a DBA has been established with the Bureau of Real Estate.

–  Subscribe online to MLSListings, Inc. prior to your appointment.  (Online process can take up to 24 hours.) Please bring a copy of your MLSListings, Inc. receipt to lease a Supra key.  All new MLSListings, Inc. subscribers must attend a mandatory MLSListings, Inc. Essentials training within the first 60-day of joining.

–  Signed MCAR Membership Application.
–  Signed Supra Key Usage Agreement required to lease an eKey.
–  Copy of Real Estate license certificate
–  Copy of Driver’s License

New MCAR Broker Obligations

Your membership will be conditional upon completion of the New Member Orientation. (1/2 Day)
Orientation schedule available at time of appointment.


REALTOR® (SALESPERSON)

New MCAR Salesperson Member Requirements

–  Real Estate license listed with Broker on the Department of Real Estate.
If license is not showing the Department of Real Estate with the Broker your membership will be held until your license is on your brokers’.

– Subscribe online to MLSListings, Inc. prior to leasing a key.  (Online process can take up to 24 hours.) Please provide a copy of your MLSListings, Inc. receipt to lease a Supra key.  

–  MCAR Membership Application must be signed by Applicant & Broker prior to emailing it to Tina Rowe.
–  Signed Supra Key Usage Agreement required to lease an eKey.
–  Copy of Real Estate license certificate
–  Copy of Driver’s License

New MCAR Salesperson Obligations

–  New Member Orientation – 1/2 Day (6 Months to complete)
–  Contact & Listing Class – All day (6 Months to complete)
–  Online NAR New Member Ethics Course (60 days to complete)
