MCAR’s Charitable Trust is a Non-Profit Corporation 501(c)(3) based in Monterey, CA dedicated to raising funds to help support advanced education. Your donation helps the Charitable Trust provide Scholarship grants to a graduating senior at every public High School and 2 Community colleges in Monterey County.
With steep increases in college tuition throughout the state, MCAR leadership recognized the immediate need to partner with our local schools to provide scholastic opportunities for students within Monterey County. In 2004, the MCAR Charitable Trust was formed as a way for REALTORS® to give back to the communities in which they live and serve.
Today, the MCAR Charitable Trust provides scholarships to every public high school in Monterey County in addition to the two community colleges. Recipients are selected by the school and criteria for scholarships are not limited to a specific course of study. If you would like additional information about the scholarship program, please contact us at 831-393-8660.
Scholarships awarded are funded directly through the volunteer giving of MCAR members.
MCAR’s Charitable Trust is a non-profit corporation 501©(3) based in Monterey, CA. Tax ID# 23-7165412.
All graduating students applying for college are encouraged to contact their school counselor to ask about the MCAR Scholarship. Each school has their own application process.
