WATER RETROFIT/OTHER INFORMATION
Each of the three water districts has the same water retrofit requirements, and each water district has its own water certification form. Please be sure to use the proper form.

Every property (residential or commercial) in Monterey County that changes ownership is subject to the water retrofit requirements and a retrofit certification form must be completed and submitted to the proper water agency. If the property is in the unincorporated county (not within city limits) and you are unsure of which water district has jurisdiction, check the MPWMD Map , or contact the MPWMD at 658-5600 with the parcel number.
